Do you absolutly have to go to some sort of makeup school? to work in the mac counter of Macys store?

I really wan't to work for mac makeup that is in Macys department store.If you have no makeup school expierence is that gonna look bad.And if I'm hired What will I have ahead of me ?Do you absolutly have to go to some sort of makeup school? to work in the mac counter of Macys store?
they normaly send you to their training so you can learn about their products and techniques


to work as a beauty advisor you have to not be afraid of talking to people and touching them. When you first start out doin't be afraid to apply makeup the more you practice the better you will get the hang of it. (practice on friends and family)Do you absolutly have to go to some sort of makeup school? to work in the mac counter of Macys store?
I'm pretty sure you would have to have a Cosmetology licence.
You can apply at MAC, they will train you.
