How much does it cost to get your makeup done at the MAC counter (or any other counter) in a department store?

Most won't charge you a thing, but some will put some pressure on you to buy their products. How much does it cost to get your makeup done at the MAC counter (or any other counter) in a department store?
Here in England it costs around 拢25 for a make over at MAC.How much does it cost to get your makeup done at the MAC counter (or any other counter) in a department store?
Most make-up is applied for free at make-up counters at any mall or department store, especially during sales. They however expect you to buy something they suggest, but you can get away with not buying anything.

Some stores may charge during peak times during holiday seasons or even during prom and other heavy traffic periods.
I got it done for free and bought shadows and brushes
they're usually free, but sometimes you have to book for 鈧?5, but this is redeemable against the products
they usually do it free but will try to sell you products, although you are under no obligation to purchase anything
Mac Cosmetics will teach you different make up techniques as well as do your make up for free. They have promotions all the time for new colors and or products. Just speak to one of the artists and they'll set you up with an appointment.
if it is macy's its free

any other department store mac requires you to buy items that are $40 and more in order to get teh free make over
The sales person cant charge you anything if he/she isn't licensed (if they were, they probably wouldn't be working a make-up counter), so it should be free. They do really like it if you buy the products...
NO COST at all. This is one of the service they will provide to customer . Thats one of the method for them to drive more business. Cus they want to show u the difference using their products, wishing that you might have an urge to buy some home afterwards.

And of course if you don't buy anything after all those efforts they have given, I'm sure they will give you a bad look or something. That's understandable tho.
The makeup application is free if you buy two makeup products.

But for special occassions, like a wedding or prom, they might have different costs.

Group costs are different too.

It's best to ask a makeup artist what their fees are. The head makeup artist may charge more.

=)
like 50$ plus some of the products.....
I'm not sure how it is at MAC... but I know that at a lot of places its free to get your makeup done... but then they require you to buy something.
