Could i use a mall gift card at a mac makeup counter?

i have a mall giftcard and i was wondering if i could use it at the mac makeup counter inside dillards..

I know that in the mall in the town over, they'll take the mall gift card. But yours may be different.Could i use a mall gift card at a mac makeup counter?
Usually a mall gift card also works anywhere the type of the card is accepted.


For example, my mall gift cards are Visa cards. I can use them anywhere that accepts Visa.
