I agree that they might not have a license to touch the customers skin ....but then again..I am not sure if that is true in a department store type setting ..... It could be that they want you to be able to do it yourself so they just kind of oversee what you do and make sure you are doing it right ......I know at out local mall you can go to the counter and ask them to try some products on you and they do .....It just could be a policy of the store you were at .....And just because you work at a makeup counter doesn't mean you are a makeup artist ....You can sell Mary Kay Cosmetics and not be trained as a Makeup artist....
Hope this was helpful ~~~~~~Why do you think some makeup counter makeup artists made customers put their on makeup on?
There may be a liability concern with doing this for free especially if the customer has an allergic reaction. Why do you think some makeup counter makeup artists made customers put their on makeup on?
because they may not be licensed to be able to touch the customers skin
They dont, the customers ask for them to put the makeup on.
Insurance.
