If you work at a cosmetics counter at a Department store do you have to wear that counters' makeup only ???

If I was thinking about applying to work at a cosmetics counter and I've heard that you don't get to pick which counter you work at. I wear all MAC foundation and havent found any that cover like I want.... and lets say I get placed at the clinique counter would I have to wear just clinique makeup ??? If you aren't passionate about the makeup you're selling, you shouldn't be selling it. However something like a foundation no one would be able to know so you technically could get away with it. When it comes to things like eyeshadows and lipglosses you really should be wearing the brand that you're selling. No, but if someone asks you what you are wearing, you are forced to either lie or go against company's policy and tell them the truth.
i honestly dont think it makes a difference wat type of make-up you wear. it would be silly if it did. i would just wear you MAC make-up, and if your boss tells you off just say u didnt know.

how would they know?
...How would they know what kind of makeup you're wearing? Unless they ask, in which case, you lie your pants off... Unless they search your house they'll never know, and what they won't know won't hurt them!
