you have to be 18, and MAC is highly competitive you have to be really good in sales so as soon as you can start working , I imagine that being 16 i'd consider getting a job where you have to put yourself out there to sell things retail etc...and as soon as you can take makeup classes. I talked to one of the MAC girls and she said its super competitive and you have to be able to sell things really good as well as be good with makeup

How old do you have to be to work at a makeup counter?
im only 13 right now but im great with makeup ive been chosen best answer in makeup almost everytime ive answered and when i went to the mac counter to try out products i beat her to everything she was gonna use on me anyway in a couple of years i want to become a makeup artist and i want to start at a mac counterHow old do you have to be to work at a makeup counter?
