Where are the Makeup Counter Schools?

I have an interview with the manager of cosmetics at Macy's tomorrow and I do do my own makeup and have experience with it but a lot of people talk about being sent to ';schools'; provided by counter's. Where are these schools anyway? Are they held in the Macy store or elsewhere? I understand makeup/beauty schools but makeup line shave their own schools? What's that about?Where are the Makeup Counter Schools?
They are not real ';schools';. They are 4 hour seminars given by the industry representatives. Of course, they mostly want to convince you to sell their products. But they will be sharing the most up-to-date tips for applying and removing make-up. Also lighting techniques... and application products like brushes and wands and pads. Macy's will send you to some during your work hours. Others you will be expected to attend on your days off..
